Shadowed Foundations is an 8th-level, expansion-themed 5E adventure for up to 4 players, in which the town of Alsbreadth falls under the curse of the mysterious Banshee of the Gala. Can the party find the missing mayor and stop the shadows from overtaking the town? Or will the Banshee's hold wash over the quickly expanding denizens of Alsbreadth? Fight hard, lest the curse take you!

What did the update a few days ago do exactly? Did anything change?
Does this have the rules for expansion and such things or do you require another book for that?

Can i buy this and just enjoy the art inside? I personally don't care about dice and D&D stuff just the story and art like in visual novels but i never bought something like this so i don't know what i am expecting here and i don't want to waste my money on something i potentially don't want
If you would like to buy it to enjoy the art, there's a lot of great work inside of it. However, this is primarily designed with use in a DnD adventure. If you don't use it as such, you probably won't get the best value out of it.
